I am looking for teachers who are dedicated and will participate fully in this project. Each teacher will be responsible for sending a postcard to each of the other states. Please include information about your state such as state symbols and interesting facts. Our third grade curriculum includes learning about our town so we will include that information as well. In return, you will receive a postcard back from each of the states involved. Address labels will be provided to you if you wish. Also, a list of names, addresses, and school websites will be e- mailed to you.
My goal is to mail address labels by September 15th. The mailing deadline for the postcards is November 4th.
If you are interested in participating in this exchange, please send the following information to my email address: kimberleyg2003yahoo.com.

Are you interested in surveying DC teachers to see how many other people have had this experience? I guarantee you some of this should go to the federal govenment for investigation. I was harassed, cursed, and had my paycheck tempered with etc because I asked that clinical staff go on going with level IV kids. The gang that ran the school would drive their cars and leave for two three hour lunches. When I told the administrator she put a fake document in my personnel file, tempered with my pay and threatened to destroy my teaching future. Your not alone in what you have experienced - believe me.

I have had a very abusive situation and , I know this sounds strange but there is a good old girl network at my school where the principal has hired her friends and they report back to her. They come into my classroom anytime they want and pretend to be helping...as resource and they report back to her, then she confronts me with a souped down version of what they said. I have a meeting for an admin review with the district next month. I am disgusted by what has gone on...and trying hard to keep my chin up and move ahead...the Principal advised I get a job in another county or leave the country...first bad eval , first year teaching elementary at a very rough C school. Union told me there are too many new teachers every year at my school which leads them to believe she chases many out of their first job. I am non tenured but have taught high school, middle, overseas and a community college with good reviews so I know something is wrong...but I wonder if the higher just return to other jobs...as this is their first year teaching. The teacher of whom I spoke in my earlier post (on regulat teachers board: this teacher has Title II kids who couldn't afford to give monetary donations so they brought in-kind donations they wanted to donate to the hurricane victims. She decided to drive down to AL shelter (w/big truck) to take their things & is accepting others) - Amber ([email removed].
There's no way I can get a collection together at my house in time for Thursday afternoon (she's leaving on Friday). I'd have to type up flyers and I'm now swamped with appts. for tomorrow, Spanish class, and Spanish homework prior to class.
If *you* have anything you'd like to donate to the people down there who were affected by the hurricane, you can reach her at the e-mail addy I've given above. She will make every effort to make the time to pick up anything you might wish to send. -Jean
My name is Courtney Wright and I am a graduate of Peabody College of Vanderbilt with secondary certification (7-12) in English. Currently, I am a graduate student at Northwestern University working under the direction of Dr. Michael E. Roloff in the Department of Communication Studies with a concentration in Interaction and Social Influence. For my 2nd year project, Professor Michael E. Roloff and I are conducting a research study entitled, Classroom justice, principled dissent, and tenure status: Instructor reactions to perceived unfairness (IRB Project # 0423-055). The purpose of this research study is to explore instructor perceptions of, and reactions to, justice violations within school policies and procedures.
I am in desperate need of a population to sample and thus I am asking you, my fellow educators, if you would be willing to volunteer for my study and complete a questionnaire (the link is provided below). I am very interested in having your viewpoints included in this study and would greatly appreciate your being willing to spare a little bit of your time (approximately 45 minutes) to help a fellow educator and hardworking graduate student. The Northwestern University Institutional Review Board (IRB) has approved this research study and your participation will be completely confidential.
Please be gracious enough to complete and return the questionnaire [link provided below] via email. Directions to guide you through this technological process are included below. Because this is a “snowball” survey, we (Professor Roloff and myself) would appreciate it if you would forward this email to at least two fellow educators, one with tenure status and one without. We will appreciate any, and all input we receive regarding instructor perceptions of justice violations in school policies and procedures. Thank you in advance for your support!
Feel free to email me at c-[email removed].
Sincerely,
Dr. Michael E. Roloff, Faculty Investigator m-[email removed]

I am bringing a group of 21 students, age 15-18, from England to visit in a few weeks time and would like some advice on places to eat out in the evenings. We are staying close to the ESPN Zone on the corner of 11th and East. I would like somewhere we can walk to and that is reasonable casual dining. I have thought of ESPN Zone and Hard Rock Cafe...any other ideas? TIA!
We have recently been doing some screen printing for area schools and sports teams. We have been offering special pricing to schools to accommodate their new dress codes as well as to area sports teams. Below you will find prices on shirts AND printing for a few of the t-shirts and sweatshirts we do. Of course, we do sweatpants, many other colors, jackets, caps, etc.- anything you would expect in a screen print shop around since 1990.
Many people find it handy to print these out and highlight those items that are useful to them. Then look at what you’ve been spending. Give Mike or Tim a call at 859-734- 4561 or drop us a line at [email removed]>-----------------
Please purchase and read my novel, SHINE ANNIE. It is a distinct historical novel that has been compared to the writings of Zora Neale Hurston. Copies may be purchased in bookstores and on the Internet at [link removed]!

Why? Do you need help with English?
