My apartment is in NW DC in the Shaw neighborhood, so
finding housing is not an issue. How are the ES in my
immediate neighborhood? Any especially good schools to try
to interview at? Is DC as desperate for teachers as PG is
(LOL), or should I expect a struggle to find something?
What are the standardized tests given to elem. students,
and is there a lot of pressure from the school system in
regards to them?

I want to continue teaching third grade. A challenging
population is okay with me as long as the principal and
staff are strong. I have five years of experience, a
master's degree, and excellent
recomendations.

Thanks for any advice or experiences you can share!
