Just looking for someone to talk to about joining the DC
Teaching Fellows. I am doing an internship in DC this
summer for a non-profit environmental association and I've
realized I can't do office work for a living. I just
received my degree in Psychology and I love working with
children. I think that the challenge of working in an urban
school setting would help me to grow both personally and
professionally. I am from MA but would love to come back to
this area. Hopefully someone can give me their feedback on
the experiences they've had teaching in DC. Thanks!

Hi Jacqui,
I applied to DC Teaching Fellows for the 07/08 school year
and had an interview last weekend. I also want to get as
much info as possible before making a decision. I only hear
terrible things about DCPS. Please let me know if you get
some feedback.
