Hi,

I currently teach HS special ed in New Hampshire and may be
moving to DC with my wife. She is hoping to work in an
early-intervention setting. We're hoping to live in a
suburban area near DC.

From what I have read most schools in DC have a high % of
free or reduced lunch participants and have problems with
discipline. Can anyone advise as to the general atmosphere
of DC schools? What type of support is there for teachers?

That being said, how do the schools in the Virginia,
Maryland areas compare? I mean the ones near DC.

Thanks!

David
