On Thursday Oct. 7th, Smithsonian's National Museum of Natural History and the Centers for Ocean Sciences Education Excellence (COSEE) will host the second installment of Changing Tides: A Series of Ocean Discussions. The lecture will feature hurricane modeling expert, Dr. Isaac Ginis from the University of Rhode Island’s Graduate School of Oceanography giving a talk entitled “Eye on the Storm: Predicting a Hurricane’s Path of Destruction.”

You are cordially invited to the lecture and a special reception beforehand to enjoy hors d’oeuvres and beverages, learn about teaching resources available through the museum and COSEE, and mingle with top scientists and specialists in ocean education.
