E...See MoreThis survey concerns all teachers; novice and veteran.
Please take time to complete this survey. It is for a thesis statement. I would appreciate your thoughts and opinions. After all, if it does not currently concern you, it will eventually. Results will be posted at the end of July, 2009.
If so, there should be ample parking, but I'm not sure.
Try to research that. Try here: [link removed]
Good luck!

Does anyone know, or know where I can find information, about getting certified? I will be graduating next year with a bachelors degree in childhood/special ed from a private college in New York. Thanks!
If you want to double check them, you can look on the DEEDS, or De Dept. of Ed. website.

Sarah (yes, another Sarah) **if you need to take the Praxis 2, I would suggest you take it long before you have to. I took it last Sept. knowing I wouldn't be returning to teaching until this school year...would have plenty of time to retake it if I didn't pass the first time. (I don't do well under pressure)...Well, couldn't sleep the night before...less than an hour of sleep (contemplated not showing up as I was exhausted), but indeed went, and received the 'Recognition of Excellence' certificate for my score...highest I'd scored on any test. Maybe I would have done better on the SAT (years ago) if I hadn't slept! If you do have to take the Praxis 2, let me know and I'll share the resources I used to prepare.

Hello, Are there classes for non-students to prepare for the PRAXIS exam? I have been out of college for many years, but still want to take the test and become licensed to teach in DE.

Alaska Delaware Idaho New Mexico North Dakota Rhode Island South Dakota Vermont (and Washington DC if I can find you!)
Quick Rules (I'll be emailing everyone specifics): *Each postcard has 2 state facts and then 1 fun fact (can be about anything from your class to your town..anything.)
*Postcards should be store bought
*You'll send out 5 cards a week starting mid-late September (you can put the same three facts on each card to make it easy)...that way you should have all 50 postcards by the beginning of December. There is an order to the five states...you'll see who you send yours out to once I send the final addresses email.
*With the addresses, I am sending an attachment of the letter I will be sending home to parents. You can personalize it to fit your class! :)
*Have more questions? Email me! [email removed]
Everyone involved is very excited and I know the kiddos are going to love this. I hope you're one of the missing states!
