Re: What school districts are the best to teach in

I did my student teaching in the Milford School District. Very
good schools in a small city. They are huge on Rennaissance
Learning programs. Capital School District is a lot bigger,
with more elementary schools then Milford. I know in the
elementary schools it is like night and day with the population
in the schools. Some are high in poverty levels and others are
lower. Both districts have only one high school. I have NOT
heard too many good things about Dover High school in the
capital school district, but that might be changing because they
are getting a new principal. Both districts have websites that
have good information. If it is possible, maybe come do a site visit and talk to the
staff, before they know that you are interviewing.
