I applied for COE in Aug 2018, they had my transcripts by early October 2018 and I finally received my eligibility today. 6 months....but, I'm glad that at least I got it.
JUst took GKE Reading on Saturday. Did NOT pass. I am frustrated. Is it just me or is there not enough time? PLEASE HELP. registering again next month!
Hello Billie, might sound dumb but what kind of questions were there in math portion, like work time problems, inequalities, etc. Thursday will be 2nd time a take it since last year. thank you all!
Lynn0612I took GK math 4/6/19. Instead of 40-42 questions - there were 50 questions with NO additional time. There were many geometry questions and looooong equations!
April passages: Born to Run (barefoot runner), HBCU, James Buchanan Eads and Graffiti vs Art.
Quizlet helped for James Buchanan Eads and Graffiti vs Art. No quizlet for barefoot running and HBCU. FYI: I took GK Reading last month in March and did not pass, those passages: Drama and Censorship, Hollywood/ Citizen Kane, Graffiti vs Art, and Vaccines. I noticed the same passages are being reused but in different order so I decided to research the history on some of the passages which helped with comprehension for the test. Previously, I ran out of time but this time, I actually had time to spare because I understood what I was reading. Good luck!
DeniseKCan you please email me. I had the same passages and used quizlet - but did not pass :( Can you share which quizlets you used? My email is: Kila.nidas@gmail.com
Did anyone use NavaEd to help with the reading section? Did it help? If anyone has it or materials from NavaEd Reading and wouldn't mind sharing it, my email is dudalisa7@gmail.com
I took the Professional today in Miami and did not pass. I'm pretty bummed because I felt confident and thought I did pass, I used Quizlet, practiced the study questions on the ftce website, and looked at some Nava Ed youtube videos about it. What else can I use to prepare for this test?
