I need some reasons as to why an individual may not pass the essay of the general knowledge test. I was told that grammartical errors are the main reason is that true?

I took an FTCE General Knowledge essay class and the professor contributed the failure rate to weak essay structure, thesis statement and supporting details. I am working on strengthening these areas to pass the test.

I took the GKT for the third time Jan 31st. I did pass English, but failed the reading. still waiting for the essay.
Essay topic was: Evaluate and analyze the costs and benefits of reading as a pastime compared with internet as a pastime.
Reading passage: vaccine, graffiti, drama and i forgot the other one.

@Di5ney - I used the Navaed English guide - passed first time! Take all 4 practice tests and READ the answer explanation at end of test - very helpful for me.
