Here's a sample from the latest collection of writing prompts by Jim Wayne:

The first full moon of the year is called the Wolf Moon because in earlier times, wolves would become desperate for food during this time of year and attack cattle and other domestic animals. (Wolves almost never attack people; apparently we taste bad to them.) Mod...See More

His Facebook page is filled with praise for him but there are no details by anyone why he deserves it. One guy says he moved from up north and praise Scott for warm weather and beaches!!!!!!!!!! Another praise him for no State Income tax. Are people so ignorant that they think he brought and end of State income tax (that mostly affects the wealthy ...See More

Teri IMO, he honestly thinks teachers are stupid. He thinks he can do his best to destroy the profession his entire term, then throw a one-time raise (if we even get that) at us and we're all going to think he's wonderful and re-elect him.

Tina I suspect he again will make it difficult for people to vote as people who dislike him are more motivated to vote so they will focus on areas that supported Bill Nelson and Obama in 2012 and their voting locations will be changed to confuse people or understaffed so there will be again be big lines. There is nothing he will NOT do maintain power ov...See More

Seriously? I don't see this as part of the war against teachers (which I agree is happening). This woman destroyed the life of a child. The child will suffer psychological problems for the rest of his life. She deserves what she got.

Now, again, we have adopted another "new" model. I've been silent for too long. Confusion sets in at Miami-Dade as ETO creeps into the schools. Teach a concept in a few minutes using "gradual release model." Low performing/Title 1 students (in general) need more practice and more than a few minutes of "gradual release" to grasp concepts.
