Explain two challenges that these representatives face when meeting obligations with their members.

That was my topic. I took the test 3 weeks ago and got the result today. I passed! omg I cannot believe it. I wrote very simple 4 paragraph essay: Introduction, Body 1, Body 2, Conclusion. Body paragraphs constructed with intro, challenge, supporting detail 1, supporting detail 2, supporting detail 3- a study or a survey.

I passed all 4 GK subjects throughout last three months... and it was really tough. All the information on this chatboard really helped me to go through it. Thank you so much for everyone who posted here.

With appreciation, I just want to share what it helped me.

GK Math: FTCE Website GK Math practice test. Go over it and study concepts that you are not sure with in each math question. For example, there is a question asking to get area with mixed units like meter and foot. From this question, you can make sure you are familiar with how to change units. You can do this with each question. See what concept each question is asking.

GK Reading: I tried a popular prep books/method. I got all the practice test questions right but , on my 1st try, I could not even finish reading the test passages. I am not sure if there are really "studying" "test taking" methods working for reading…I think the best strategy is to study Quizlet. I organized all the questions and answers there for myself. It was 345 questions/it's not definite…it's just according to how I organized them. Anyway, I ended up memorizing all of them. It absolutely worked. :)

GK Grammar: This is the subject I actually got benefit from a GK test prep book. I studied a prep book and made sure that I understood all the grammar rules there.

GK Essay: I was so nervous about writing an essay in English. English is my 2nd language...So I decided to follow a good essay writing example.. I found a YouTube (not an ad..) video. He talks about how to construct GK Essay. I thought this would really work. I got the base format from one of his YouTube live recording and memorized it. Then I plugged into the topic that was given to this format. I still feel unreal that I passed it…

Hope this helps. It makes me so happy to imagine for the day to come that I am in a classroom with kids…It's still a long way for me to go since I am changing my career after being a home staying mom for the last decade..Anyway, good luck! You can do it!
