I'm looking for these texts : HBCU's, Barefoot Running, Paper Mill and Catalonia. I'm studying for the reading on quizlet and I don't understand some questions...
The Quizlets that everyone has been recommending, definitely helped me a LOT!!! Thank you to everyone that posted about the quizlets.
I studied the passages from Sept, Oct, and Nov. (that's (4) passages per month - which means you are likely to get an arrangement of these passages in some order on the exam) - and it worked out because the answers from quizlet were right on and I had a nice range of passages that I had prepared for.
My study plan: I studied Alaska, Eads, Muzak, & Stem = the first week after I failed the exam last month.
I studied HBCU's, Barefoot Running, Paper Mill, & Catalonia = the second week after I failed the exam last month.
I studied Drama/Censorship, Bauhaus, Luddites, & Graffiti vs Primitive Art = the third week after I failed the exam last month.
*** The last week leading up to this week I reviewed all of them. ***
This is what worked for me. Create a plan that works for you and stick to it.
I hope this helps someone! Be encouraged, you will pass!
Hello, everyone, I looking for a tutor to help me to pass the ELS and Math test. My Temporary Certification expires the next June. Can you recommend someone?
Has anyone in the Pinellas county area taken the essay part of the GK and knows the prompts. This is my 5th time taking it, I just can't seem to pass it.
I took the professional test the first time without the book didnt pass. Then got the book and passed easily. I watched the navaed youtube video on that particular test and it explained a LOT on how to look for the "good words". Passed and didnt read half of the questions...just the answers. Found the "good words" for the correct answer.
Aussiedogs3@Niecy - I feel your pain. I freeze up and my mind can't think of things and I don't know how to prepare for this test. I don't think I am a good reader as well. My time is running out as well. There has got to be a way.
