Having a study guide and still not knowing how to solve the problem is a lot of others problems. I suggest you buy NavaEd's digital course... it's not that expensive. See what Florida Southern has. They are located in Lakeland FL. Maybe you can take Foundations of Esol... you need some type of ESOL class to teach.

I was thinking to do the two month Math boot camp for $50. At least it will give direction and practice tests and instruction. Thoughts?

Use NavaEd... I passed on the first try. Also take the digital math course with NAVAED. Dr. Jasper walks you through and explain and breaks down how to master the difficult questions. I can't vouch for anyone else... NavaEd yes!
