Very unusual but possible.... I will assume that you will only talk about your position and provide evidences... You may want to add somewhere there a simple sentence about the other position.... But your main focus should be why you are defending or against.....

I agree with sunflower. When they ask you to take a position you decide if you are going to be in favor or against of whatever they are talking about. I suggest you not to go from one side to the other one. For example, I'm going to use one prompt from NavaEd, which is evaluate whether or not non-citizen should receive free education.
