I did the score verification in July, because I got a 7 for the 9th time.
They will put u in testing room with ur essay on the screen and comment box to write ur comment. That cost me 75$, worthless.
I am schedule to take essay again at the end of October and that will be my 10th time, total spend $ 500. I don't even know why the state is requiring for a future math teacher to pass essay? I am trying to get my math degree for teaching at the secondary school.
But after the 10th time and if I still don't pass, then I am changing my profession.
I have email the FTCE board about it, but they are all rude and mean.

Try to take the test in a different county. Friend of mine did that and passed after 3 attempts. I will do the same thing this time..

Going into my 6th time doing the essay I found a youtube video explaining how to do it. It was called, "FTCE General Knowledge Essay (45 min video)". I actually got (almost) the same subject to write on. It might help you a lot. I attacked it with a research style approach 5 times....then after this video it changed my approach and worked for me.
