Currently, the attacks on us and our unions. If I get told that I'm a selfish, overpaid, jerk who only works 6 hours a day AND gets summers off AND keeps his head in the clouds one more time, even I may start to believe them. Seriously, with the way people naively view teachers, how can they blame us for wanting to stick together in our unions?
Unions didn't fight for school lunch programs, smaller class sizes, and services for special needs children. *Facepalm* All we do is bankrupt the country because our lazy college-educated selves don't want to work for $9.00/hour.
It's just demoralizing. I love my kids (I consider my students like family) and work hard for them, but much more of this and I'm out... if I'm not worth it to the country/state/parents then I'll leave with what dignity I have left before it's stolen from me.
I sub on Oahu, but am moving to BI. On Oahu TSEAS calls daily offering assignments. Does anyone have any BI substituting experience? Do you get many calls? Which complexes have the greatest need?
I'm Sped HQ (Georgia certification), experienced middle school, and WOULD PREFER a position in an elementary school setting. Also, am certified in Early Childhood.
How good/bad is it on the islands? Any suggestions, experiences to share? Thanks.

<...See MoreA2Zgroceries.com would like to take this time and say thanks to this year’s PTA members for bringing our communities together for a common cause to advocate and improve the lives of all children. We are providing free Grocery List for all parents.
Happy Thanksgiving, and thanks again for your unwavering support.
My name’s Jim and I’m a semi-retired teacher and coach. If someone would have shared this opportunity with me when I was 25 and told me that I could be retired by age 30 with a monthly residual income that was ‘out of this world’, knowing what I know now, I would have jumped at the chance.
That’s exactly what I’m offering you; a way to leverage $80 a month into a 4-6 figure monthly residual income in approximately 24 months. It’s a simple concept based on numbers and, we all know, numbers don’t lie.
I would love to have the chance to tell you more, but for now, please go to my website and see for yourself. Enter your name, email and phone number (no obligation to look), and watch the 4 short video presentations. If you like what you see, get on the waiting list and secure your position in this home-based business that can be your vehicle to financial freedom in a very short time. I hope to hear from you soon because it really does work!
