I am a Pennsylvanian who has spent the last decade in
Taiwan teaching English, mostly to young children. I have
an ESL certificate, but no education credentials. I would
like to move to Hawaii with my wife and kids and find work
teaching ESL in the public schools. If I am unemployable
due to the fact that I do not have an education
background, I would be glad to get the certification
through the U of H. Could anyone give me an indication as
to the market for ESL teachers at present? Thanks, Andy
