Hello! My name is Colleen. I live and work in Wilmington,
Delaware. I am a special education teacher at the Delaware
Autism Program. I am interested in moving somewhere new
for 1-2 years. I searched online about Teach for America,
an Americorps program that young teachers commit 2 years of
their professional career to. They have sites throughout
the United States, but none in Hawaii. I was wondering if
there are any programs for teachers in Hawaii that are
similar to this....where you would commit a certain amount
of time, and they provide housing and other necessary
supports? Please let me know if anyone has heard of
programs like these, or any other contacts that are
