Hi, does anyone know how hard it is to get a job in late
September? I'm moving to Oahu with my husband who is in
the Army.
Also, my new neighbors just came back from HI and say that
teachers are paid really well, $50k+/year in private
schools. But, public only pays about $37k/year. What would
I be looking at with a Bachelor degree and 5 years of
experience? Thank you!

Hi Kid Magnet!
I just wanted to say it's so nice to hear positive responses on
this chatboard! It seems to me that there are a lot of negative
responses to teachers who post here. I myself am from Hawaii,
teaching on the mainland. It's nice to hear from happy Hawaii
teachers! :)
