Hello all, I had my interview and the DOE gave me an offer
of employment to work on the big island. Does this mean I
have a job and should start planning my move or can this
still easily fall through the cracks. Or should I wait to
start planning my move when I actually here from the
school I will be teaching at. Any info will be greatly
appreciated. Thanks, Joe

I am not sure what an offer letter is. If you are not sure, call the name on the letter
and clarify. Did they list a specific school and grade/speciality? If so, that sounds
very specific and less likely to fall through the cracks. If in doubt, call. this school

grade level, etc. on it. Since I am a spec ed teacher, it also
listed the relocation bonus, etc.

My letter was an Offer of Employment from DOE, a carbon copy in
triplicate letter that I had to sign and send back within ten days.

browser and then follow the instructions for password and user name.
After you do that, there is a link for employee document checklist.
