Hi, I'm very interested in subbing on Maui. In Lahaina,
Kahului, and Wailuku specifically. I would appreciate any
advice concerning what the proper first steps to take are.

Hawaii Teacher Ask schools if you can be placed on their "priority substitute list." That is the list which teachers will go to FIRST before calling TSEAS to request a substitute. I think you may have to talk to the principal to get this done.

dont bother you have to be approved by a principal first you cant just take the course. good luck with that, you have to go to the school they dont bother to return email or phone calls.
