I have to sing the praises of a workshop I attended last summer in Texas, Joan Thorpe's Teaching Shakespeare Through Performance. I used her scene cuttings from Taming of the Shrew, and my students loved it. A friend used Romeo and Juliet with the same results. My 32 students each had a role and believed they were stars when we did a presentation for other students during class and for parents at an evening production. The parents and administration were really impressed! Check out her website at [link removed]

Hello, I am a contacting you from England and I wonder if you could help me.
Could you please tell me, do teachers write summer end of year reports to parents in your country.
If so, what format are these in and do they reflect the entire years subjects taught or are they a more general summary of a child’s year and achievements.

Many of you may be in the same position that I am - left with a little bit of extra time during the summer and slightly underpaid throughout the year :) . I have found a terrific company that promotes a personal and environmental wellness line while compensating you for using their products and introducing them to others. It is NOT multilevel marketing! The company follows a consumer direct marketing approach while providing customers with safe, nontoxic, environmentally friendly alternatives to traditional household products.
