Hi Idaho teachers, This fifth year group is looking for someone to represent your state in our postcard exchange for 07-08. Let me know if you would like to join us.
Would love to join in if you do not have anyone from ID yet?

This administrator's tool continues to grow and expand. If you are a school principal and looking for help with your everyday forms, letters, etc.- please feel free to use PrincipalsPage.com.
Each day we receive more free resources from school administrators who are willing to share their knowledge.
Please visit our free website and pass it along to your friends in education.
If you are planning on leaving Idaho to come to Nevada, check out Teachers4Change...... You need to get the facts regarding the Silver State before you come here......
I teach 5th grade in Florida and I am trying to start a postcard exchange for my class. I am looking for a class that **promises** to participate. It is so fun and any elementary grade can do it. I am accepting the first teacher from each state that emails me. It is super easy and fun!
All you have to do is request that each parent send in 2 stamped postcards that have your state name on it. Then when the due date comes, you have your students write facts about your state's climate, what it is famous for, etc. In return you will also get a postcard from each state. The kids LOVE getting the mail and you can do so much with it.
If interested, please email me at gator.[email removed]!
I am starting a post card exchange for the 2007-2008 school year. We will start mailing out postcards September 10th and have them all mailed out by April 1st. I will email you a list of participants by August 27th with the addresses.
I want this to be a learning experience for my students. They will experience writing addresses and they will learn the locations and a few facts about each state. You can send pre-made postcards or make them yourself.
Once I get the list of participants (with their school addresses) I will mail one to everyone on the list. Each class would send a postcard to everyone on the list. So, by the end of the exchange, your class would send a postcard to hopefully every state and receive one from every state too! The real purpose is to have a fun way to study each state.
Please keep in mind that if you decide to drop out of the exchange, you need to let me know so the students are not disappointed. I want this to be an awesome experience for our students so, please sign up for our exchange.
Email me your name, address, email address, and state if you would like to join. You can participate from any grade level. [email removed]

Hello all, I am about to come out of "early retirement" and get active as a teacher again. I'm up in northern Idaho and would love to connect with other Idaho teachers to learn more about schools and school culture here. I haven't really taught in Idaho (2 months this year at a private school) and have otherwise not taught at all since finishing my credential work 5 years ago (my oldest is almost 5 ...). It's time to get back in the loop!
My class will be reading the story the Gingerbread Man and doing a project with it. I am asking if anyone would mind assisting with this... if you would like to please email me at [email removed].
Project letter: My name is the Gingerbread Man, my friend in CLass 2H was reading a story about me and i jumped out of the storybook to visit you. My friend at school is wondering where I have run to. Please help them by sending them a picture postcard showing them the area where you live. This postcard will be posted on a large map of the world outside of my classroom. This will help the children by showing them how different parts of the world look. I know my friends will enjoy hearing from you and learning where I have run! Thank you for your help! Got to go! The Gingerbread Man
** If you would like to help my class please email me at [email removed].
