Greetings. I am the director of the Lewis-Clark Service Corps based at Lewis-Clark State College in Lewiston. We are in the process of recruiting 116 full- and part-time AmeriCorps members to serve as tutors and mentors throughout the state of Idaho. Our AmeriCorps members serve in public and charter schools, colleges and universities, faith-based, non-profit and community organizations and correctional facilities.
All members receive a bi-weekly living allowance and, upon successful completion of service, an education award which can be used for future education or to pay off student loans. In addition, full-time members may receive health care coverage and child care assistance.
