I want to thank everyone who posted information to this site. I took the test on Sat. and I wouldn't have passed without it! I made study guides based on this site and read the Annotated Mona Lisa. k HA! That is exactly what I did with the grass/tree question!

The Cordoba Mosque-which doesn't it have? mosaic decorations or flying buttresses. I put flying buttresses, but I couldn't decide on this one either.

Starr Hm, I remember now. I think that was one of the questions I thought was kind of faulty, with no really great answer. The mosque does have mosaics,horseshoe arches and all of the other stuff mentioned. Arts tests are over...on to the PLT..... help!

Hey everyone,

I took all 3 sections this past Saturday... now I'm starting to study for the PLT grades 5-9. Does anyone have any tips?? Is there a study forum on teachers.net like this? I have the REA studyguide.

Any suggestions would be VERY helpful!! :)

Teaching Jobs in indiana

I am currently at student at IUSB. I am thinking about changing my major from Psychology to Secondary Ed. I was told by some one that there are no jobs to be had. Does anyone here know the outlook for teachers in Northern Indiana? I live in Elkhart. Thanks for any information!

rch Susan is correct about science and math teachers being in greater demand than other areas. An idea if I may...with the psych as a major, you may want to check out school counseling, or psychometry...these positions may be more open than teaching psych/social studies, and even our elem schools now have full time counselors...our district has tons of...See More

Has anyone graduated from Western Governors University and been able to get a teaching license in Indiana? Websites say that Indiana is one of 8 states that don't take their degrees straight forward and that you could get a license in another state and work in Indiana. Any help would be appreciated. I call the Certification Agency and they say I'm taking the chance on not being certified in GA. So confusing and don't know what to do, I like WGU and what they offer. All,

It was the case until recently that WGU students were licensed in Indiana via reciprocity with a Utah license. However, WGU students in Indiana now obtain their Indiana teaching license through a direct licensure application. Reciprocity is no longer needed. The same is true for Georgia and California, which have been direct licensure states for WGU students for a number of years.
