I'm trying to get info on part time teaching. Do any of your Kentucky districts allow teachers to teach half a day? If so, how are your incentives (sick days, personal days, retirement, etc.) affected? Please email me at [email removed].
What's Your Opinion? I've seriously thought for quite some time that our nation needs a 4 or 5 strong party system. One reason I think that only about 50% of the voters go to the polls and vote is because we're limited to only 2 candidates to vote for especially in state and presidential elections. Then let's do away with the electoral college and the person seeking the office for president of the United States and his/her running mate with the most votes would become our new leaders. I, like many other American believe we need to have more choices when voting for our President. Also I think it would be a good idea for the elected person/persons to be permitted to serve for only four years.
Personally, the Kentucky Wildcats have been my favorite basketball team since I started listening to them play at the age of ten years old!! Question: How many of the Fabulous Five Wildcat players could you list? I'll promise to list all five by Wednesday!

I am a schoolteacher and a writer. Please purchase and read my novel, SHINE ANNIE (Young Adult-Adult). It is a distinct historical novel that has been compared to the writings of Zora Neale Hurston. Copies of SHINE ANNIE may be purchased in bookstores and on the Internet at [link removed]!

Anyone looking to purchase a Gradematic 4000 Grading calculator, go to Ebay and where the search bar is located, type "Gradematic 4000" scroll down. Finally found one and they have some more left.
I would like to know about those of you who job share and where you teach. I teach in Arkansas and am trying to research in order to present this idea to our district. Please let me know how I get started, and if there are any laws in Arkansas that govern this practice. Leah
My fiance` and I have moved to Lexington,KY permanently following Hurricane Katrina, and she is looking for work as a Spanish or French instructor. Are there any ideas or resources out there?
Hello! I found your request when I was searching Google! Last year I had a French tutor, but she moved back to France, and then I had a baby, so I haven't had much time or money to "replace" her. I would be very interested in having your wife tutor me. I am 22 years old and I have a basic grasp of the language. Let me know if you are still looking for work. Also, let me know what you would charge and which times would work best for you. :-) Thank you, Mary Hoffmann
