Hi! My name is Martha. I want to teach a spanish in any grade. In exchanges to for me to go to school to take medical/nursing class. I can't afford to pay my tuition fee. I can't apply for student loan. I don't know who to ask so I will teach spanish for no cost if I can get to medical/nursing class with no cost.I don't know if there's such a option. If you can help me to give me some kind a information or provide who I can talk to about this. I appreciate it thankyou very much.
I'm struggling to learn how to transfer articles, pictures and etc.from other newspaper articles to teacher chatboards.Would you please give the necessary steps for me to follow? Thank you very much!
Help!!!! I have been reassigned to a FMD classroom and have never worked on an alternate portfolio. I will be doing Reading Assessment for 10th grade and need ideas on tests and probe? Are they one and the same? How often do you assess? Any help and ideas will be greatly appreciated.
I need some advice. I have my teaching certifcate from Canada and I just recently got married to a soldier. We'e stationed at Fort Campbell, here in Christian County and I am desperate to know what the job market is like here. I mean, I don't know if it's worth it for me to go through all the tests, transcript evaluation, etc. if we will be moving again in a couple of years. Will I even be able to obtain a position or get called to sub daily? I know that any experience is great but I'm just very confused b/c I know that we are not planning on staying here when my husband gets out and I will have to go through the same process again wherever we end up moving to. I'd appreciate any advice and thoughts.
It will be worth it in the end. I am speaking from experience. I have lived all over Africa and in many states. Call me if you like and me can talk about it. Keeping up to date is very important and much easier than playing catch up.

Do You Live Within 50 Miles of a Cargill Facility? By: Erin Dysart/UOR/USA/AFSIP Posted: 11/02/2007
Greetings from the AFS Admissions Office in Portland! As you may be aware, we are now a mere month away from the Cargill scholarship nomination deadline (December 4th). And we are looking for more nominees!!!
The nomination process is as simple as 1-2-3. Students can nominate themselves or, better yet, you could nominate a special student! Simply go to the Cargill page on the AFS- USA website and then click “Apply for this Scholarship” (on the right side of the screen.) The nomination form is simple, straight-forward, and a breeze to fill-out.
For nominees to be considered for a scholarship, they must: live within 50 miles of a Cargill facility. have a record of academic achievement (3.0 and above). be between the ages of 15 and 18 at the time of departure. demonstrate leadership and community service experience. have a strong passion for learning about other cultures. be interested in a year or semester program (departing summer/fall 2008) in either Latin America or Asia.
We are privileged to be able to join with Cargill in fostering knowledgeable and compassionate leaders for tomorrow’s global society. Please check-out the attached list of cities to see if you live within 50 miles of a Cargill community!
15 scholarships will be awarded to US participants. The base award is $1,500 and may be increased based on demonstrated financial need.

Thanks for reading my post! DonorsChoose.org is a simple way to fulfill needs and foster innovation in our public schools. At this nonprofit website, teachers submit ideas for experiences and materials that their students need to learn. These ideas become reality when concerned individuals, whom we call Citizen Philanthropists, choose projects to fund. DonorsChoose.org has raised and directed more than $14 million to classrooms.
I am getting ready to take the Praxis II and I am extrememly nervous. I am not teacher...yet, but I am taking graduate courses toward my Masters. If anyone could help me I would greatly appreciate it!
I have major test anxiety and if there is someone out there that is willing to help a person out...that person can be me.
For your students who wish to go on a high school foreign exchange with AFS in the near future, important deadlines are near. For the Cargill (folks who live need a facility) December 1st and Awards for Excellence to which students must be nominated by an educator December 4th. Encourage your students to get their applications in on line ASAP to be eligible. they may do this by going to [link removed].
