I have just published a book written for new teachers in the classroom, A Lesson Plan for Teachers, New and Old. It was written as a guide for my student teacher, but has proven helpful to even experienced teachers, so I published the book for all! The book covers an assortment of topics from efficiency to planning to working with others. It is a very practically written book, with new teacher's needs and confusions in mind!
A full description, including the table of contents and the first chapter of the book can be found at [link removed].

I am desperate to find a teaching job. I just finished my masters of arts and teaching degree in Dec and found out that I have enough hours to also qualify for my Rank I. I have to now find a job. I was working for the college I attended but since I have completed my program my job ended. Any advice?

I am certified in school counseling but have been working as an English teacher because counseling jobs are hard to find. The counselor at my school and I have been discussing the job share option. I've found many resources on job sharing teachers but no counselors. Do any of you have information?
Laura, I am a counselor in a middle school. I have requested that my district look at the possibility of job sharing for my position. I was told to look at ways that job sharing could save the district money. Have you had any luck finding any resources?
