I graduated from college a year ago and I have been unsuccessful in my job hunt. Has anyone heard what the job outlook for elementary teachers is going to look like next year? I'm willing to relocate, however I'm not finding much out there.

Due to Florida educational system turmoil, I would love to relocate to Kentucky (I lived in Murray as a child). Would someone please suggest a good place (low crime, low pollution, good-to-great high schools with few discipline issues) for a 40 year old Physics teacher to settle down? I would appreciate any assistance.
Rita/KYMy dad was the biggest Wildcat fan ever. He never missed a game on T.V. and got to watch them play at Rupp Arena many times. My mom got a little jealous at one of the last games he was able to go to. He spotted Ashley Judd in the audience, and according to my mom spent the rest of the game watching her! :)
I am considering moving to Southern IN/Northern KY in a year or two. Can I comfortably live on $35,000? This would mean all the normal expenses, plus cell phone, internet, and a movie or two a month.
