teachNOLA recently applied & a little nervous!

Hi -

I just submitted my application to teachNOLA yesterday! I just recently stumbled on the program & I am pretty nervous about the outcome. I just moved to Mississippi from Seattle & I am really hoping for this opportunity.

I guess I am mostly concerned about the amount of applicants & available teaching positions. I would love to work with the RSD kids. Who knows though. I guess all I can do now is wait and see.

Anyone else recently apply?

grow up, educators (joke) I sincerely hope that those who are placing responses on this board are NOT teachers! If you are, you should grow up and find other vocations. Look at this sophomoric drivel you are posting! You are on par with junior high kids with your silly gibes.

Kimmie I teach in Jefferson Parish, and live in Old Jefferson. My school and my neighborhood are very safe places. Working for JPPSS is the best thing that ever happened to me!! And, living in New Orleans rocks!!
