I am a career changer and will be going through the PRPIL program with Class Measures starting in September. Can anyone tell me about their experience? Thanks!
do public schools count private school experience on the salary scale when hiring a new teacher? i have over 5 years experience teaching in a private school and i don't really care if they count it because i would still make more money at a public school but i would just like to know. would really appreciate it
Jaron HMIt depends on the rules in the district. If you had a valid teaching license while you were working in a private school, I believe that most districts will count the experience. I know of teachers who have had their experience count to the salary scale.
