I am trying to apply for a license waiver in Massachusetts. The DOE website is very unhelpful and I am wondering if anybody can tell me how to apply for a teaching waiver. Thank you.

I would like to switch my primary license area of elementary ed. to my additional certification in sped. Both are renewed at different times. About 2 yrs ago, I renewed my primary area again, but now my sped lic. will expire next year. Can I do the switch at that time?
Hi, I am currently taking a class on co-teaching and collaboration. For this class, I need to conduct a quick survey (9 questions) on co-teaching and would appreciate your help. It's completely anonymous. Thanks!!! [link removed]
I just became certified to teach elementary in the state of Michigan--where finding a teaching job is impossible right now. I have applied to a lot of schools in MA...and I've sent out personal emails to principals with my resumes, and I have not gotten 1 interview, but there are a lot of postings for jobs that I keep seeing. I go through the schoolspring website alot. Any information someone could give me would be helpful...like how hard is it to get a teaching job in MA, or what I could do to better my chances of getting interviews, thanks!
I just heard from the young girl I wrote about yesterday as I emailed her to see what had happened. She did go from a full-time aide job here to teaching a summer school class for rising first graders all on her own. She told me she had decided to relocate back to NOVA as her family is there and went and an interview at a major school system. So far she has heard from three principals and has 3 interviews lined up. I would say given that it is backing right up to the start of school that she has an excellent chance of being hired. But she did have to jump through a lot of extra hoops to even get this far.
Here is a link to a site that is providing free lessons to those who want to give feedback about them. No cost! Pilot begins in Sept. Already planning!
