...See MoreI'm trying to get my initial license. I have passed the Math/Science (5-8) MTEL, and have completed my masters with a science endorsement.
Now I can't get the Math/Science initial license because I have a science endorsement on my degree, and I can't get a General Science initial because I haven't passed the General Science MTEL.
It seems crazy to me that the Math/Science MTEL doesn't cover you for General Science at the next License level (or, presumably, Math alone either).
Is this something others have encountered? I'm beginning to think I'm just caught in a bureaucratic no man's land and will have to take another MTEL, wasting another 4 hours and $150.
I am unable to find my Massachusetts teaching license from 1967 (K-8). I went to the Mass site to no avail. Does anyone know what I could do. I will call their number tomorrow and see if I get a real person!
Looking for a Full-Time teaching position for High School Chemistry. Have applied to all the local postings found on schoolspring.com. Have 1 year of experience teaching three levels of HS Chem.
If anyone knows of a opportunity, please let me know.
