I received an email from the MA department of education 2 days ago telling me that I have earned my preliminary license. However, I do not have any official document to prove that I'm certified. I'm applying to schools who need proof of certification. How can I prove that I'm certified? Shall I print that email? Will I receive an official certification document by mail?
jo/ma Yes, you will get an official certificate, hopefully sooner than later. In the meantime, print the email and use it as your proof of certification. All school employers are very aware of the backlog over at DESE. Good Luck!
