Hi All- I have my master's in Ed in curriculum & instruction-middle school science. I also have my initial license and am in my 2nd year. I'm already thinking ahead to my prof. license and am having trouble navigating and making sense of the DESE site and guidelines...since I have my M.Ed, am I set or do I need to take more classes? I'm teaching science if that helps...what I gather from the site is that my options are to get another master's or take 12 grad credits of science classes. Do I really have to do that? Please advise!

Jarod HM If I remember correctly, I don't think you need to do anything else for the first professional license if you have the masters. You just need the five years of experience on the initial license. With the professional license, you will need to renew it every five calendar years.
