I just signed up for a long term sub position in MA for the remainder of the year. Does anyone know if I will be able to collect unemployment over the summer if I do not find another job? Again, this is in the state of MA.

(I was hired as an aide and completed a full year practicum to get my certifications. I was unemployed for the summer but found a job for the following fall.)

Several people, teachers and aides, claimed th...See More

I had a contract for a one-year long term sub position and the district told me to fill out unemploymebt forms, which I did. I did receive unempl over the summer but was fortunate to find a new job in the fall. However, I had to take all pay from the LT sub job before the summer; in other wor...See More
