While you are looking for employment, please make sure that you talk to a couple of teachers in the district that you are applying to.

In some larger districts, one in particular in western Massachusetts, the union does nothing when teachers are intimidated or harassed by principals. It can be argued that the teachers union protects the attacker.

There is a house bill that will hopefully pass soon and teachers along with their students will be protected.

I hope that you look at the healthy workplace bill and write to your representative. Anyone can be targeted at any time in Massachusetts.
