Honestly, it depends on where you work and who your Principal is. The it is not true that only 40 licenses have been taken. In Baltimore City it is common practice, because so many teachers get overwhelmed and try to leave mid year. Ultimately it is the principal who pushes for the removal of license. Maryland State books for Non-Public schools

looking for advice on disposing of Maryland state textbooks for Non-Public schools. Just took over in the media center of my school and there are a ton of books purchased with state money that are no longer being used/ are severely out of date. Not sure what to do with them.

Move from MD to higher paying N. VA school

Hi I am considering a job offer in Va schools that pays about 20% more. Does anyone know about how Va retirement works? I am mid career and have put in 9 years already in MD. Sorry to jump ship but I cannot support middle class life where I am at for my family.
