Hi..I've read about the expected growth in the Aberdeen area due to military personnel moving to the area, but are there more teaching jobs as a result? I live in DE, near the NE corner of MD, and am wondering whether I should put my application in with Cecil County. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
I am a certified middle school math teacher from Texas and I just moved to the Baltimore area; looking for teaching job with the Balt County sch syst that I love so much. I have screening interview next week , what should expect? what can do to be successful? Thanks

Must I wait for Jan. 1st to apply....or when I get my transcripts? I'm afraid there will be a period of just waiting around for things to be official. If anyone has gone through (or knows about) mid-year certification...I'd love any advice! Thanks!

I'm trying to find a former teacher by the name of Rus White. He taught physical education at Belt Jr. High School in Wheaton, Maryland during the late 1960's and early 1970's (possibly later). Can anyone help me locate and possibly contact him?

The building is still there, but I am not sure if it is a school any more. Since I don't live in the area, I'm not sure of the building's more recent history, however, I know it's there since I drove past it when in town this past summer.
