My question for you all is: Is it worth it to try this out? Would it be helpful to spend a day visiting schools or would I be too much of a bother?
All help/opinions are appreciated (or any job leads for that matter :) )

Unfortunately, any school will just tell you to go through HR. Even if you went out there, it's only county HR that will hire/assign you.
