Hi, I would love to relocate to northern maine (calais
area, harrington area, maybe houlton or fort kent area).
I'm working on my Maine certification and, once I complete
the testing, will have a certification in ESL and a
conditional certification in SPED K-8 (will need to take a
couple more courses once I get to Maine to get a regular
SPED certification). I have about 7 years experience as an
ESL teacher, but have worked with many special needs
students over the years.
What is the need for sped teachers in this region? Is it
difficult to find something there?
