I am in the process of transferring my certification to
Maine from New Jersey.I have my MA and have been teaching
for 2 years, working in schools for over 5.

There is a class called "Teaching Exceptional Children" that
is a requirement. What is this class? In NJ we are inclusive
and we modify work for all learning needs. Is that what this
class is about?

Also, how common is a Responsive Classroom in Maine?

Different Needs Learners or something like that. You do need
to get the course approved prior to taking it if it's an
online course. I can give you more specifics if you'd like.
