I'm an American now living and teaching screenwriting & filmmaking in Vancouver.
My new primer, FILMMAKING WIZARDRY is available for teachers wanting to introduce filmmaking into their classrooms this fall. The book is a step-by-step guide to the filmmaking process, with lots of check lists and links to broaden your knowledge of the craft.
And, there's a special discount for teachers who buy in bulk too, so you can share the book with your students OR use it as a fund-raiser for your school!
Introduce some creative chaos to your classroom this fall and have FUN!
I substitute taught for three years and have been teaching Pre-School for the last 2 years. I've been applying and interviewing throughout this whole time with no luck. Any help would be great!
I am about to take my elementary education test in a couple days...and was wondering if anyone who took it remembers any specifics I need to know??? I reallyyy want to pass this on the first try, since I have taken the elementary language arts one 3 times and still have not passed! Any help would be appreciated!!
My question is, I ended up resigning to avoid the non- renewal. Do I have to tell employers that I wasn't going to be renewed before I resigned? I can't believe this happenned to me. Does anyone know any other teachers that were fired and then hired by another district? Not sure what to do, education was my life!
Since you did resigned, I don't feel you are required to tell future employers the reason (they can find out by contacting last employer). You can say you had to move (spouse?), relocated closer to family, etc. Good luck to you.
Alpena is interviewing! Art, Sp. Ed, Life skills (?), industrial arts.

I have been trying to get the free trial for Jobulator but it keeps telling me I have the wrong pin which I know is correct. Who do I call or e-mail or talk to about this? It is very frustrating. Any help will be appreciated. I am a substitute in Texas.
