I tried emailing you through this chatboard's email feature yesterday. Hopefully you received that email. If you did not, perhaps you could post your full name or some way to contact you.
I did want to post a few suggestions for any other substitutes out there who are not receiving email replies from the Jobulator Team. The Jobulator support team maintains a "next business day" email response time.
So what should you do if you do not see a response from our team? Here are some helpful hints.
1. Make sure that your are sending your emails to [email removed].
2. Also check your inbox and spam folder for any emails from "Frontline" or "Frontline Technologies." The subject line is often "New Case Notification." These are emails from our team. If you find them in your spam folder, you may want to consider marking those emails as not spam.
3. If you are certain that you are sending your email to [email removed].

...See MoreI am also having a difficult time getting a resolution to my problem. I have written to jobulator (Rich K)and he has written back, but the problem is technical and needs to be worked out with him / technician on the telephone. He offered to call me, but hasn't. I have written back and am waiting for a response, but but it is now "silent."
it is very frustrating to pay for something and get no support.

I am a laid off K-12 Special Education - Learning Disabilities teacher looking for full - time, part -time, or a long term sub position in SE Michigan. I got laid off in June 2011 after two years at my previous school and I have not been able to land a position. I have had interviews but no offers. Please let me know if you know of a Sp ED opening at any school (public, private, charter) in the SE Michigan area.
Have you tried the Oakland Consortium? It is a website where there are many jobs posted (Pontiac Schools has quite a few openings, for instance). You can upload your resume and other credentials. It takes a while to complete the "application", but it seems pretty complete.
I hope others here will comment on the Consortium website's usefulness in landing a job
Hi Kyle-- we use many sites including the Oakland Consortium-- in fact I've called them a few times over the past six years to ask them to rid the site of outdated listings-- but they say it's the individual school district's job and each district varies as to how soon they perform that task.
Our group has grown by word of mouth from about five people to over 350 since we started in 2006. I know of no other totally free service as this one. I'm just happy to "Pay it Forward" as they say in the movie. We currently have had 323 hirings of some sort since 06. Some individuals have been hired two or three times while in our group-- some find jobs from our leads while others find them on their own. And some just get lucky.
Do you have a full day, every day, kdgn program in your school district? Where are you? I'm trying to compile a list of which school districts do and don't. Thank you!
My jobulator icon at the screen bottom says "(not responding)" yet the screen icon seems to be normal. Yet, no jobs have come in since this message appeared. Am I off line or is it that there just have been no substitute teaching jobs within the past two weeks. Usually, I get two to three contacts a week.
Just curious if anyone here has known a teacher who's contract wasn't renewed, yet they were still able to get another teaching job. This happened to me after my fourth year, right before I would've been tenured. I had excellent evaluations for the first three years, but then our principal retired. The new principal let me go.
I've heard conflicting tales. Many people tell me not to bother, so far, they seem to be right. I've interviewed 10 times with no offers. The schools just can't seem to get over the fact that I was let go. Other people tell me to hang in there, but it's been over a year. I'm an excellent math teacher and I feel that my first three years of excellent evaluations and letters from parents warrant a second chance. Just looking for some feedback.
Try subbing if you can (which I know sucks when you've had a permanent ...See MoreIt is possible to get a job after being non-renewed, though it is tough. Times are hard for all teachers and there are just not as many jobs as there were in years past. There are other teachers who have been looking for jobs for a year, who have not been non-renewed.
Try subbing if you can (which I know sucks when you've had a permanent position. That will get your foot back in the door and allow a principal to get to know you.
I would also try other neighboring school districts. I have never been non-renewed but I did have a principal who placed a letter in my file (believe me....it was personal) and gave me a bad reference. Principals within the same district know one another and this makes it difficult to get hired but in another district it may not carry as much weight especially with people who don't know your principal. Plus you have 3 years of great evaluations.
If you know any teachers at other schools....see if you might be able to get a job or an interview through their recommendation.
So don't give up and if you do get an interview be honest and just explain that you aren't quite sure why you were non-renewed and let your passion for teaching shine through. Someone will hire you eventually.
Best wishes. Hang in there.

On 11/14/11, don't give up wr...See MoreThank you for your words of wisdom! I know that this is what I want to do for the rest of my career, so I'm going to keep fighting. I think the fact that the principal who fired me left the school after only two years due to parent pressure says something about my situation as well. Thanks again!
