Yes, Coleman has told us, numerous times, that he is the man to get the job done. But what job is that? Perhaps he'll speak some reason on the subject of "merit pay?" If you're a teacher, you'd have to be a moron to have voted for Norm Coleman. He's going to lead the way toward privatization, so that public money can be funneled into the private sector. The only kids left in schools will be those whose parents don't give a rip, and those with disabilities. Too bad and IQ test isn't mandatory before voting.

other hand will not stoop to calling you any names. Yes I believe that Norm will do a good job. But then I didn't vote for him because I AM A TEACHER, but because I also have a moral belief that abortion is wrong. I know that people say we should not be single issue voters, but when it comes to something so VERY IMPORTANT to me I will be a single issue voter. By the way I TEACH IN A CATHOLIC SCHOOL.
I'm from out of state but was just reading a Minnesota weekly paper today and thought someone might be interested.
The Rothsay Public School is looking for a long-term stustitute for high school (7-12) Social Studies. The position will be from approximately Jan. 6 to Feb. 14, 2003. Submit letter of application, resume, copy of teaching license, and references as soon as possible to Mary Donohue stetz, Principal, Rothsay Public School, 123 Second Street NW, Rothsay MN 56579. Tel: 218-867-2116.
Rothsay is a very small town located along the upper end of I-94. The closest larger towns are Fergus Falls, Breckenridge, Pelican Rapids, and Moorhead. It's certainly NOT very long term but sounds like a neat position for someone desiring to get a bit of teaching experience. I grew up in that part of the state and it's a nice place to live. Grace/IL
I would like to take this opportunity to introduce you to INKBANK Cartridge Recycling Fundraising Programs ([link removed].
If your school is not currently recycling inkjet and laser cartridges, you may be missing out on one of the most lucrative fundraisers ever. If you are recycling, we hope your experience has been financially rewarding. I would like to invite you to visit our website as http://WWW.INKBANK.COM and see our current cartridge values, our “5 Minute Crash Course on Cartridge Recycling”, and see how we are making a difference across North America in financially supporting the PTO/PTA effort and protecting the environment.

Hi, I am a 33 yr old man. I am an avid reader of various literature but do not have a college degree. I'm starting school in January '02 at a community college with the intention of transfering to a university. I've often considered getting a degree in education because I have fond memories of my English teachers. They were inspiring but I wound up in the military and later in the trade of baking. I had very little parental direction toward college. Can anyone offer any advice regarding this choice?
Just a note to let you know I have more than fifty classic short stories at my site. These are public domain stories for you to use as you like and include many classics for teenagers ("The Scarlet Ibis" and several by Poe.) I also have lots of writing prompts. Hope the site is useful to you.
What advice can you give on job hunting in this area? What are the different school districts like? How many districts make up each city? Are there any specific areas to avoid? What is the inner city like? Any input is greatly appreciated...Thank you!
Does anyone know of any teacher who have incorporated brain based learning into their classroom and will inservice teachers on their methods-Looking for Twin cities area teachers-
