stephanie how is ur area with racial things? i have heard a lot of bad and i know there has to b a safe area where a mixed couple with 2 kids could live. thanks

My school has 35 different nationalities in it. You tell me if we have a DESPERATE need for ESL (or ESOL as it is referred to here.) Our district is EXTREMELY well funded, so they do not hesitate to hire the best.

Current pay from below has changed, it is now $41k-$87k, and again this year we hired a record 1700 teachers with a 94 per cent retention rate.

Gwinnett County is the district. We go by counties here.

mj Yes, but it is late in the year. Gwinnett County is the name of the school district, so go to the website(Gwinnett county Public Schools) under careers, and they will list the jobs. Just to give you an idea, we have 35 different nationalities in our school, and we are pretty typical for the county/district. We will be opening another 8-10 schools next year again, so we'll be looking for many teachers at all levels. There is a very big job fair the first weekend of November tht I would suggest you attend.
