I just graduated from college in December and beginning
teaching at a small K-8 school District in December as
well. I am moving to the Camdenton Area this summer and
heard that it is very difficult to become a teacher there
unless you have A LOT of experience. Is that true? If
so, is there anything that I can do to get my foot in the
door?

My advice would be to sub as much as possible in the school
district you want to be in. Be as pleasant and helpful as
possible and make an impression. They like people
they "know" more than people who come from the outside.
Don't forget to try other school districts as well. Osage
