I plan to be teaching in MS, however, if I don't have an
interview by May 1st this will be quite difficult. When do
MS administrators start the hiring process. I am from
Atlanta and my school has already signed contracts and
hired new teachers for next year. They think that I should
have a MS contract in hand by May 1st. Is this possible or
realistic?

I don't think that teachers can't teach from textbooks, I think they
have a set of standards to teach from. At least here, you use
whatever you need to use to teach those skills....See More
