How does the state expect a teacher making around 40k a year to pay over $600 a month for family coverage? It is absolutely ridiculous! I wonder who I could complain to.

teacher My husband and I both teach. We have an individual policy for our children with BCBS (it was cheaper than adding them on to our school insurance). Their policy pays SO SO much better than our policy pays. Something needs to change!

Teacher 2 I had blue care for my son when I first started teaching. I couldn't afford to add him either. I told several of my friends about it.
