**This will be my 4th year organizing a postcard exchange. Please note that we'd prefer bought photo postcards rather than made cards. All cards must be out by the 1st week of November. And only write me if you are really committed to making this project work. Are you interested in joining? Email me.

Please send your name, school name and addy, and the grade you teach. Thanks!
Only 1 elementary classroom from each state will be represented & it's on a 1st come, 1st serve basis. Email me immediately ([email removed]!
Once I add you to my state list and close that state, I will send you a confirmation email (Yippee) that you've made it in!
When all 50 states are represented I will compose a mailing list and email it to you. I will create the state list in a label ready format for you to just print out!
You will be mailing 49 postcards(ask for postcard & postage donations from PTA/PTO, parents, grants, etc.)
Postcards should start to be be mailed out in September. All postcards should be postmarked by Friday, December 19, 2008. This works out to be about 3-4 postcards per week which is definatly managable.
If your interested, and serious about following through, please email me:
Your name Grade Level school name school address
*(Also let me know if you'd like to be in this exchange annually or not. This way we can secure a base of states for the following school year!)
I will let you know if you've made it into this exchange.
Come join in on the fun and endless teaching opportunities that await you AND your students!
Well-organized, reliable postcard exchange in its second year needs a teacher from the Treasure State! This is a fun, rewarding, and easy project that you don't want to miss!!

You send info about your state and receive a postcard for each state in return. Its a great way to learn short letter writing, addressing postcards, location of the states and a wealth of knowlwdge.
Your class will be asking every day if they got any new postcards!
Unfortunately, racism is still a very big part of our society and from reading you sarcastic response I need to thank you. I can see that Montana is full of racists. Be happy! Montana has one less less African-American you don't have to worry about ever setting foot in your state. on 4/27/10, Montrego wrote:
